Level 1 (up to 400 hp)
  • Basic Overhaul kit including:
    • New clutches/bands
    • New seals/sealing rings
    • New gaskets
    • New filter
  • Rebuilt valve body
    • New detent solenoid
    • New sprag/roller clutch for 2nd gear
  • Stock depth pan
  • Rebuilt Torque converter
Level 2 (up to 600 hp)
    • Basic Overhaul kit including:
      • New clutches/bands
      • New seals/sealing rings
      • New gaskets
      • New filter
    • Rebuilt valve body
      • New detent solenoid
      • Shift improver kit
        • uses dual surface area high gear piston for over 2x the clamp load in 3rd gear
    • New 34 element sprag for 2nd gear
    • High capacity 2nd gear clutch pack
    • High flow oil pump 
    • 300M input shaft
    • Billet chromoly forward clutch hub
    • Stock depth cast aluminum pan
    • Rebuilt Torque converter with choice of stall
Level 3 (600 hp+)
    • Basic Overhaul kit including:
      • New semi-metallic clutches/bands
      • New seals/sealing rings
      • New steel molded pistons 
      • New gaskets
      • New filter
    • Rebuilt valve body
      • New detent solenoid
      • Shift improver kit
        • Uses dual surface area high gear piston for over 2x the clamp load in 3rd gear
    • New Aluminum high gear drum with 36 element sprag
      • Offering a lower moment of inertia to increase clutch life in 2nd and 3rd gear
      • 36 element sprag offers larger diameter giving it 2x the torque capabilities
    • High flow oil pump
    • Snap ring stabilize to prevent lug blow out in the case  
    • 300M input shaft
    • 300M intermediate shaft
    • Billet chromoly forward clutch hub
    • Cast aluminum pan
    • Billet faced torque converter with choice of stall
Level 4 (Drag racing competition 700+)
    • Basic Overhaul kit including:
      • New racing blue clutches/bands
      • New seals/sealing rings
      • New steel molded pistons 
      • New gaskets
      • New filter
    • Rebuilt valve body
      • Manual valve body available in forward and reverse pattern shift pattern
      • with or without trans brake depending on class 
    • New Aluminum high gear drum with 36 element sprag
      • Offering a lower moment of inertia to increase clutch life in 2nd and 3rd gear
      • 36 element sprag offers larger diameter giving it 2x the torque capabilities
    • Increased 2nd gear clutch capacity
    • Snap ring stabilizer to prevent lug blow out under high rpm shifts
    • High flow oil pump
    • 300M input shaft

Level 4 (Off road racing competition 700+)

            Optional Upgrades:
            • Gear ratios: choosing the proper gear ratio is crucial to optimizing performance of your vehicle because of this we offer several options including:

            • Lightweight package: Depending on the horsepower rating, there is two different models.  For the lower power ratings, the forward and high gear drum are made with Powerglide clutches for a lower moment of inertia and 14.5lbs of less rotating weight. For the higher horsepower cars we also offer Aluminum drums in stock diameter for both forward and direct with larger splines for the input shaft to increase torque capabilities. Each, the small diameter and large diameter drums, come with steel sleeves for the sealing ring area to improve drum life, and in 34 and 36 element sprag options. 
            • Ball bearing tail housing: standard on our off road model, the dual ball bearing tail housing is the ultimate on drive line strength.  This is recommended for drive lines that have long travel or engines with large amounts of torque and a tendency to drive the rear of the transmission up or down, such as in high horsepower boats and buggies. 
            Accesories:
            • Transmission coolers:  WPT offers several sized coolers for whatever your load, whatever your horsepower.  We even can make a custom cooler for your confined space or desert runner.  We offer standard cooler or those with an integrated fan for spaces with no direct air flow.
            • Transmission yokes:  Depending on your application, whether street strip or off road there are several yokes or couplers to choose from.  WPT is a dealer for several suppliers and can get several levels from a basic forged standard u joint size to a fully billet, barrel hardened yoke with massive 1480 joints. 
            • Shifters:  choosing a shifter is one of the keys to defining the style and apeal of the interior of your car.  whether it is a classic street car or a full race car WPT can hook you up with a shifter to suit your needs so you hit every shift on time every time.
            • Dipstick and tube:  Either a standard style tube to give the factory like look or flexible style to allow universal mounting anywhere on your firewall. 
            • Transmission mounts: Available in polyurethane, rubber or solid mounts, WPT can outfit your transmission with a mount that fits your exact car perfectly.
