The 5R110W is Fords first model of their next generation of transmissions. The innovative design rids any mechanical device used to shift, but rather fully controlled by sensors and solenoids. The 5R110W was used behind Ford's 6.0L and the 6.4L twin turbo Powerstroke diesels and has many upgrades to handle all the torture you can throw at it. Westminster Transmission builds each unit as unique as the vehicle they are going in, but we have 3 levels which can be used as guides for what your vehicle needs and can be changed for your particular application:
