Level 1 (up to 500 hp)
  • Basic Overhaul kit including:
    • New high energy clutches/bands
    • New seals/sealing rings
    • New molded pistons for late units
    • New gaskets
    • New filter
  • Rebuilt valvebody
    • New electrical sensors and solenoids
    • Shift improver kit
      • including patented boost valve to prevent pressure spikes

Level 2 (up to 700 hp)

Level 3 (700 hp+)

      • New stage 1 clutches/bands
      • New seals/sealing rings
      • New steel molded pistons 
      • New gaskets
      • New filter
    • Rebuilt valve body
      • New electrical sensors and solenoids
      • Shift improver kit
        • including patented boost valve to prevent pressure spikes
        • Uses dual surface area high gear piston for over 2x the clamp load in 3rd gear
    • New Aluminum high gear drum with 36 element sprag
      • Offering a lower moment of inertia to increase clutch life in 2nd and 3rd gear
      • 36 element sprag offers larger diameter giving it 2x the torque capabilities
    • 300M input shaft
    • 300M intermediate shaft
    • Billet chromoly forward clutch hub
    • Cast aluminum pan
    • Billet faced torque converter with choice of stall

Level 4 (competition 700+)

      • Shift improver kit
        • including patented boost valve to prevent pressure spikes
        • Uses dual piston apply area for over 2x the clamp load in 3rd gear 
    • New Aluminum high gear drum with 36 element sprag
      • Offering a lower moment of inertia to increase clutch life in 2nd and 3rd gear
      • 36 element sprag offers larger diameter giving it 2x the torque capabilities
    • Increased 2nd gear clutch capacity
    • 300M input shaft
    • 300M intermediate shaft

Optional additions:
  • Billet dual ball bearing tailhousing, recommended for off road vehicles.  This tailhousing is based off the th400 style housing and offers two bearings to prevent loading and unloading of the rear of the trans which causes premature wear of the internals.  our ball bearing tail comes with a fixed yoke and required a slip style drive line.
  • Trans brake valve body, for our competition series we offer a pro tree manual valve body.
  • TCI 6X 6 speed conversion valve body and controller.  Covert your transmission to a 6 speed transmission, perfect for keep your engine in optimum power band and making passing gear more throttle sensitive for better drive ability. 
Accessories:
  • Compushift/TCI aftermarket controller. Electronically controlled transmissions require an electronic control unit (ECU) to shift and function properly.  We recommend two stand alone controllers the compushift from HGM electronics and TCI ez tcu, both have ease of use and adaptability for any project.
  • Transmission coolers:  WPT offers several sized coolers for whatever your load, whatever your horsepower.  We even can make a custom cooler for your confined space or desert runner. We offer standard cooler or those with an integrated fan for spaces with no direct air flow.
  • AN fitting adapters:  the late model 4L80E has a special rear fitting requring an adapter to run to a braided line cooler line.  WPT has developed a fitting adapter to goes from the push in style fitting to -6AN male fitting.
  • Transmission yokes:  Depending on your application, whether street strip or off road there are several yokes or couplers to choose from.  WPT is a dealer for several suppliers and can get several levels from a basic forged standard u joint size to a fully billet, barrel hardened yoke with massive 1480 joints. 
  • Shifters:  choosing a shifter is one of the keys to defining the style and apeal of the interior of your car.  whether it is a classic street car or a full race car WPT can hook you up with a shifter to suit your needs so you hit every shift on time every time.
  • Dipstick and tube:  Either a standard style tube to give the factory like look or flexible style to allow universal mounting anywhere on your firewall. 
  • Transmission mounts: Available in polyurethane, rubber or solid mounts, WPT can outfit your transmission with a mount that fits your exact car perfectly.
