The 47/48RE Is one of the baddest 4 speed automatics out of the Dodge camp.  Westminster Transmission custom builds each one to suit the particular modifications and amount of load you need to haul, however we have 3 levels as a guide for what we can do and what upgrades we offer. 

Level 1 (stock) includes:

  • Box overhaul kit including:
    • New clutches/bands
    • New seals/ sealing rings
    • New gaskets
    • New filters
  • Rebuilt valve body
      • With new electric sensors and solenoids
    • Stock depth Pan
    • Rebuilt Torque Converter

    Level 2 (Performance Rebuilt) includes:

    • Box overhaul kit including:
      • New clutches/bands
      • Upgraded clutch material for better thermal stability
      • Rigid 2nd gear band with racing red lining
      • New seals/ sealing rings
      • New gaskets
      • New filters
    • Rebuilt valve body
        • With new electric sensors and solenoids
        • Patented manual valve to charge the converter in park allowing fluid level to be checked in park and neutral 
        • Redesigned pressure regulator valve to increase lube oil
        • Transgo-2 HD shift kit
      • Billet over sized 2nd gear servo piston with 11% more holding power
      • Billet 2d gear apply lever and anchors to prevent breaking
      • 300M input shaft with chromoly direct clutch hub
      • Mag-hytec deep Pan
      • Rebuilt billet faced single disc Torque Converter

      Level 3 (Ultimate Rebuilt) includes:

      • Box overhaul kit including:
        • New clutches/bands
        • Upgraded clutch material for better thermal stability

        • New gaskets

      • Rebuilt valve body
        • With new electric sensors and solenoids
